Deer Gets Lucky as Driver Startles Cougar About to Make a Kill

A cougar was denied a meal when it was startled by a passing motorist while pining down a deer by the roadside in Hockinson, Washington, recent video shows.

Amy Neff told Storyful that she was driving by what she thought was a dead deer on January 23, before she realized there was a cougar too.
