Deadpool & Wolverine spoilers follow.
Good luck avoiding Deadpool & Wolverine's multiple surprises this weekend as after the guest stars took to the Comic-Con stage, one of them has now explained their unexpected return.
In an interview with EW following the Comic-Con panel, the star in question said it was only down to Ryan Reynolds that the cameo happened.
But before we go into their quotes, a final warning for major spoilers ahead.

Let's stop skirting around it. Deadpool & Wolverine features the return of Chris Evans, but not as Captain America. Instead, he appears as Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, in a hilarious cameo.
Reynolds contacted Evans personally about the role, which left him "so excited".
"Ryan's a buddy," he said. "He just shot me a text saying, 'Listen, might be a long shot, but would you have any interest in reprising something from 20 years ago?' I said, 'Oh my God! Of course.'"
Evans continued by praising Reynolds' "midas touch" which meant that even though the cameo is meant to be tongue-in-cheek, it works within the Deadpool world and doesn't mock the character.

"His self-awareness makes him almost invincible. He makes the joke before the audience gets a chance to make the joke," he explained.
"So if you're going to revisit a character and you have to find a way to make it work, Ryan's humour makes just about everything work, so you feel an automatic sense of safety."
As for whether his Human Torch return has made Evans consider returning as Cap, he seemed pretty definitive: "No. No, not really."
Sorry guys.

Before its release, Deadpool & Wolverine revealed that another cameo in the movie was the return of Dafne Keen as Laura/X-23.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige explained the reveal was spoiled because it meant that she could come to the world premiere, adding that Disney know "exactly when to push a little forward and pull a little back" when it comes to marketing.
Deadpool & Wolverine is out now in cinemas.
