David and Victoria Beckham have spoken of their pride after their son Romeo revealed his first high fashion cover of L’Uomo Vogue.

The 18-year-old model appeared on the cover of the English-Italian quarterly fashion bible - marking his front cover debut.

For the editorial, Beckham - who has modelled for Burberry - was photographed for the Condé Nast magazine by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

The shoot took place last December at The Timber Barn on the Munden Estate, near London.

His fashion designer mother, Victoria, posted about the cover on her Instagram page.

The former Spice Girl wrote: “Proud of you” under a series of posts showing off the editorial.

Meanwhile, his father - former England captain David - wrote: “So proud of you. What an incredible first cover.”

Beckham himself wrote: “Excited to share my first cover shoot for @luomovogue.”

In the shoot, Beckham is seen modelling a mixture of designer and vintage clothing.

Beckham is currently dating Bath-based fellow model Mia Regan. She is best known for working with brands like PrettyLittleThing. On her 18th birthday, he wrote a tribute to her on his instagram page. “I love you so much,” he wrote.

A few days ago, the star posted a selfie of the pair together with the caption: “Miss you weirdo.”

The shoot comes as Phil Neville confirmed he is leaving his post as England Women head coach, with the 43-year-old taking over as the new boss at Inter Miami, the Major League Soccer outfit co-owned by his former team-mate David Beckham.

The latest edition of L’Uomo Vogue hits newstands on Friday 22nd January.
