Daniel Radcliffe As You've Never Seen Him Before As Neo-Nazi In Imperium

Head shaven, a collection of race hate tatts, a white power slogan-tee… you’ve never seen this version of Daniel Radcliffe before.

The first trailer for race-thriller ‘Imperium’ has arrived online, and it’s a substantial departure for the 'Harry Potter’ star.

In a movie based on true events, he plays Nate Foster, an FBI agent who goes undercover in a neo-nazi terror group to try and bring them down.

The supremacists, lead by 'The Nick’ star Chris Sullivan, are planning to make a dirty bomb to detonate in an act of home-grown terrorism.

Radcliffe’s Nate seems a shaky proposition for his handler Toni Collette, but soon enough he’s doing all the marching, the air punching and being inked up.

It’s the second recent movie from the British actor which has significantly removed him from his magical actorly origins.

He plays a flatulent corpse in the movie 'Swiss Army Man’ opposite Paul Dano, acclaimed as a triumph by critics, and released last month in the UK.

Imperium, meanwhile, is due out on September 23.
