Damage Seen Across Bakhmut, Ukraine, Following Reports of Shelling

At least two people were injured following shelling in Bakhmut, in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast, regional governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said on Tuesday, December 6.

The Donetsk police reported that Russian forces shelled 10 settlements in Donetsk Oblast and that five missile strikes were recorded in Bakhmut.

Local news reported that Russian forces have been focusing on Bakhmut as it would aid their advancement in the east, citing the commander of the troops defending Bakhmut, Colonel Artem Ilyukhin.
