The New York Giants are one of the surprise stories of the 2022 NFL season, rolling off to a 2-0 start. On Monday, however, they'll face a Dallas Cowboys team that has been something of a nemesis, winning nine of their last 10 matchups.
But the Cowboys (1-1) will still be counting on backup Cooper Rush to keep the offense afloat, as starter Dak Prescott continues to recover from a thumb injury. Rush completed 19-of-31 passes for 235 yards with a touchdown in Week 2's upset against the Bengals, including three completions on the final drive of the game that set up the game-winning field goal.
The Giants, meanwhile, have taken down the Titans and the Panthers in their opening two games, and rookie coach Brian Daboll has relied on running back Saquon Barkley to set the identity of the offense.
