Dakota Johnson is opening up about her love for Chris Martin.

In a new interview with Bustle, Johnson, 34, briefly addressed her relationship with the Coldplay singer, 47, when she was asked how she feels when watching Martin perform.

"I don’t know. I love watching him. I could watch him every day,' Johnson said. "I don’t know how to explain it. I feel like, I don’t know... I’m watching my most favorite being do his most favorite thing."

"I don’t know. I’m the wrong person to ask," she added, laughing when the outlet asked, "What is it about the musician thing?"

"I love me a musician," she shared. "I think it’s talent. I think it’s the way that they see the world. But I think it really depends on the musician. I’ve known some s----- ones."

Johnson and Martin began dating in 2017, after he famously "consciously uncoupled" from his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2016. The couple made their first public appearance together at Stella McCartney's Autumn 2018 Collection event in January 2018.

The couple typically remain private about their relationship; they were most recently seen on vacation in Mexico in the days following the release of Johnson's latest movie Madame Web. A source told PEOPLE on Feb. 21 that Johnson and Martin had "a relaxing vacation" together.

“They stayed in Punta Mita for a few days. They seemed happy. It was just the two of them. They hung out on the beach," the source shared. "Dakota read a book. They also did yoga and meditation.”

A second source added that the couple were “relaxing, talking, reading, swimming, walking [and] holding hands” during their getaway.

Johnson also gave Bustle a glimpse into her home life with Martin in Malibu, California, which she described as "way out by the beach."

“I need to be in nature," she added. "I can be out at my house and not see or speak to another human for days on end, and I feel wonderful.”

While Johnson does not yet have any upcoming movies on her schedule following Madame Web, Martin is scheduled to tour with Coldplay throughout this summer, beginning with the band's upcoming June performances in Athens, Greece.
