Maybe you’ve come across “Peppa Pig” through your kids, siblings or via social media memes. No matter how you’ve come to know about the British animated series, you most likely know the popular animated piglet, Peppa.

Created by Astley Baker Davies studio, the preschool cartoon first aired in 2004. Shown in 180 countries, according to BBC, the cartoon revolves around Peppa, a female piglet, her family and friends. An announcement in 2021 said the show was being renewed until 2027, replacing the original creators with Karrot Entertainment.

In 2019, a viral tweet about Peppa’s height made the internet go crazy.

How tall is Peppa Pig?

A barrage of Google searches stemmed from that one tweet, around the same time as the tweet was published, making the animated piglet’s height a hot topic on the internet. So, how tall is Peppa Pig really?

Insider reported Peppa Pig is 7 feet 1 inch tall, citing the internet as the source. However, the website for Peppa Pig World Online Toy Shop said the animated cartoon’s height is 3 feet 9 inches.

“This is terrifying,” Twitter user @Memeulous wrote, reacting to Google’s response to Peppa’s reported 7-1 height.

Some noted if Peppa’s height was indeed 7 feet, she would be as tall as NBA superstar, Shaquille O’Neil.

How tall is Daddy Pig?

Internet users ventured even further and got curious about the height of Peppa Pig's father, Daddy Pig.

This Twitter user calculated Daddy Pig’s height to be 14 feet 2 inches. However, Peppa Pig World said Daddy Pig would most likely be 6 feet 6 inches tall.

How tall is Mummy Pig?

What about Mummy Pig’s height? While the internet hypothesized Mummy Pig’s height to be 12 feet 2 inches, Peppa Pig World said Mummy Pig is likely to be 5 feet 9 inches, adding she could’ve been a “catwalk model in her younger days.”

Gerald Giraffe is the tallest member of “Peppa Pig,” according to Peppa Pig World; yet, it does not mention the exact height of the character.

The latest addition to the playgroup, Gerald, is the tallest in the class because he’s a giraffe. Peppa believes she’s as tall as Gerald even though he is taller. “It’s not much fun being tall,” Gerald says in a season 5 episode since he gets caught easily while playing hide and seek.
