Watch The Rock, Chris Evans, Ellen, and More Stars Try to Name All Seven Dwarfs

This past weekend’s D23 fan expo in Anaheim celebrated all things Disney — an ever-expanding universe that also now includes Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm.

So when a parade of big-name stars made their way to the Yahoo video suite during the event, we wanted to get a sense of how deep their own Disney fandom delved. So we asked each each of them to name all seven dwarfs immortalized in the original princess movie, 1937’s Snow White. Some actors, as you’ll see in the video above, did better than others.

While Ginnifer Goodwin (at D23 for next year’s animated adventure Zootopia, but who has the advantage of playing Snow White in TV’s Once Upon a Time), Bryce Dallas Howard (Pete’s Dragon), Chris Evans (Captain America: Civil War), and Finding Dory co-stars Ellen DeGeneres, Ed O'Neil, and Kaitlin Olson did just fine, then there was Dwayne Johnson (Moana) and Anthony Mackie (Civil War).

Droopy, Stinky, DJ, Callous, Moana, Maui, and Hairline are not dwarfs in any of the various Snow White incarnations we’re aware of; but who knows, maybe as Disney stars they’ve got the inside scoop on some to come.
