Cute Cat Steals the Show at Canada Day Celebration in Ottawa
A cat rode in the basket of a patriotic scooter at the Ottawa Canada Day festivities on Friday, July 1.
The cat, sporting a red shirt, was surrounded by miniature Canadian flags as she lounged with her owner in the Parliament Hill area, where anti-vaccine demonstrators were protesting, according to local media.
A video posted by Caryma Sa’d shows the cat enjoying the Canada Day celebration in Ottawa on Friday. Sa’d said, “Not only does this cat deserve to make national news, I wish she was premier, too.” Credit: Caryma Sa’d via Storyful
