CSU system will not increase tuition for the 2022-2023 academic year

The California State University system will not raise tuition for the upcoming 2022-2023 academic year. CSU Chancellor Joseph I. Castro made the announcement in his report at the January CSU Board of Trustees meeting, according to the system. Mike Uhlenkamp, a spokesperson with the system, said tuition will remain the same at all 23 campuses. It is $5,742 per year, but it averages to around $7,000 depending on the campus and corresponding mandatory fees.
