'Crimson Peak' Peek: Come for the Creepy House, Stay for the Wicked Sister

As Lady Lucille Sharpe, Jessica Chastain shows a hint of ill will in this exclusive clip from Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming haunted house film, Crimson Peak. But whether she’s a full-blown villainess remains to be seen in this gothic horror movie filled with terrifying apparitions, an oozing red clay, and a dangerous, unraveling mystery.

Things get spooky from the moment Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) moves into the creaky old house. After suffering a horrible tragedy, Edith marries devastatingly charming British man Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston). She grows increasingly troubled by Sharpe’s sister, the wily Lady Lucille, who keeps a tight hold on her brother. From the looks of this clip, Lucille does the same for the doors in the house: No keys for Cushing!
