CrimeStoppers looking for people ‘involved in’ Charlotte Northlake Mall shooting

Charlotte-Mecklenburg CrimeStoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying multiple people in connection with a reported shooting at Northlake Mall on Sunday.

CrimeStoppers released photos on Monday of three people it said were “subjects who were involved in a shooting incident” at the mall.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 704-334-1600. Tips can also be submitted online.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said Sunday it appeared one shot was fired inside the mall in front of the DTLR shoe store after a dispute between two people.

CMPD officers responded to the mall about 2 p.m. Sunday. No one was shot, authorities said. Two people were evaluated for non gunshot-related medical reasons, according to Medic.

Northlake Mall was closed for the rest of Sunday after the incident but was set to reopen on a normal schedule Monday.
