Crews Work to Rescue Whale Stuck at Richmond Lock
Crews worked to free a baby whale that became stuck along the River Thames in Twickenham, England, on Sunday, May 9, according to reports.
Emma Davitte Owen shared this footage of the animal — possibly a minke or humpback whale — surrounded by a rescue crew as it thrashed in the water at the Richmond Lock and Weir.
Reports said a person was previously seen hosing the whale down as a veterinarian checked its health. Credit: Emma Davitte Owen via Storyful
