Creepshow Sneak Peek: Flanagan Favorites Samantha Sloyan and Ruth Codd Hide From a Deadly Monster — Watch
The worlds of the Mike Flanagan universe are colliding in this exclusive sneak peek at the Creepshow premiere.
In the clip embedded above (Season 4 premieres with its first episode Friday, Oct. 13 at 10/9c on AMC, while all six new episodes stream the same day on Shudder and AMC+), a young woman (Ruth Codd) bangs on the door of a kind stranger (Samantha Sloyan) asking for refuge from a (literally!) monstrous onslaught. But what is she running from and is there any escape?

The segment in question is titled, “Twenty Minutes With Cassandra” and is written by Flanagan’s brother, Jamie Flanagan (The Haunting of Bly Manor). Horror legend/special effects maestro Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead, Creepshow 2) directs.
Both actresses have been at the forefront of writer/director Mike Flanagan’s work. Codd played the moody, biting Anya in Netflix’s Christopher Pike adaptation The Midnight Club, in addition to appearing in the streamer’s just-released Fall of the House of Usher. Meanwhile, Sloyan portrayed Catholic fanatic Beverley Keane in the miniseries Midnight Mass, and also played Shasta in The Midnight Club and Leigh in The Haunting of Hill House, all of which were part of the “Flanaverse.”
