Crafty Cat Climbs Down Firefighters' Ladder After Being Stuck Up Tree for Days

A crafty cat managed to climb down a firefighters’ ladder on March 3, in London’s Thornton Heath, after being stuck up a tree for more than two days.

This video uploaded by the London Fire Brigade, shows the feline slowly descending down the nine metre ladder on its own, but as soon as the cat reaches firm ground it speeds off without so much as a thank you.

Station Commander Richard Hamilton said he “couldn’t believe it” and that in more than 25 years of firefighting he had “never seen a cat do that before”. Credit: London Fire Brigade via Storyful
