COVID-19 metrics spike in Maryland, officials push to vaccinate more

Hospitalizations aren't the only metrics increasing in Maryland, COVID-19 cases are once again on the rise. According to Maryland state health officials, Dec. 2 saw one of the largest 24-hour jumps in cases seen in quite a while with more than 1,700 cases. There were also 11 deaths reported, totaling more 11,007. Despite the uptick, health officials said Maryland is doing much better than other states, and the key in this fight is still to get vaccinated.
