Courteney Cox goes Monica Geller mode to clean Hollywood stars: 'Someone's gotta do it'

Monica mode: Activated.

Courteney Cox re-embodied her "Friends" persona as clean-obsessed Monica Geller in a video posted on Instagram Wednesday. The clip features Cox wiping down Hollywood stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to the tune of Dolly Parton's "9 To 5."

It starts with an abomination: A walker scuffs their shoe on her star and another steps on it which prompts Cox to jump in with a spray bottle and paper towel. "Literally, right on the star," she teases in the video, motioning to walkers that "You can go around."

She proceeded to clean the stars of some friends, including Jennifer Aniston, Laura Dern and Reese Witherspoon.

"Someone’s gotta do it," she captioned the video.

When Cox took the stage for her own remarks, she took a moment to thank “beautiful friends” Aniston and Kudrow, as well as Dern, for their attendance and unwavering support.

“It’s so nice that you came out and showed up for me in public the way you do so often in private,” Cox said. “I love you.”
