You could get free wings at Buffalo Wild Wings if the Super Bowl goes into overtime

You may not be able to predict the outcome of the Super Bowl, but you could score some free wings if the big game goes into overtime.

Buffalo Wild Wings will offer everyone in the United States a free order of six boneless or traditional wings if the Super Bowl game is tied at the end of regulation play, the company announced last week.

It's the fifth year in a row Buffalo Wild Wings has made the offer. Only one Super Bowl, though, has ever gone into overtime— the New England Patriots' victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

If the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles go into overtime on Sunday, patrons can get their free wings at Buffalo Wild Wings locations across the country on Monday, Feb. 27, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

The offer is only available for dine-in customers and in-person takeout. You don't need to make a purchase to redeem the free wings, according to Inspire Brands, the company behind Buffalo Wild Wings.

Customers can choose between 26 signature sauces and seasonings, including honey barbeque, spicy garlic, lemon pepper, parmesan garlic and mango habanero.

This year marks the first time both teams get possession of the ball in overtime.
