Cosplayer makes armor out of 2,000 puzzle pieces: ‘My jaw dropped’

A woman made a stunning “puzzle armor” fit for a knight out of two 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles.

What is inflation and what causes it?

TikToker and cosplayer @lie_chee showed how she accomplished the feat in just five days. She had entered a cosplay contest called “CosSLAY,” where contestants “make armor using unconventional materials.” The cosplayer decided to use puzzles as her material, which turned out to be an inspired choice.

Watch this bland Brooklyn bedroom become a mid-century modern escape in just one day:

In the clip, @lie_chee explained the taxing process of making the garment in a short amount of time. First, she had to complete the puzzles. Then she had to glue the puzzle pieces onto each piece of armor she made out of cardboard.

Next, she spray-painted the puzzle pieces silver and gray and added a red cape to complete the look. The result was a unique suit of armor that looked as enchanting as it was powerful.

As for whether this was the winning look, @lie_chee explained in the comment section, “The contest already happened last year, I got 2nd place for this challenge and third overall.”

The video received 5.4 million views and 1.1 million likes on TikTok.

“So not only you did this, you did this in DAYS???? oh my lord,” a person wrote.

“This is honestly some of the coolest armour I’ve ever seen,” another said.

“You put so much dedication into it! And it looks amazing,” a user added.

“Such an elegant piece. Incredible work, especially for only five days of build time,” someone replied.

“My jaw dropped the moment I saw this,” a TikToker commented.
