Corrie's Mark Frost shares his hopes for "fitting" Ray comeuppance

From Digital Spy

Note: The following article contains discussion of sexual misconduct that some readers may find upsetting.

Coronation Street villain Ray Crosby has been making many enemies lately: he's been buying up properties and trying to get everyone out of the Street so he can go forward with his redevelopment plan, and after months of Abi Franklin trying to out him as a sex pest, he was arrested for attempting to rape his employee Faye Windass.

Corrie normally gives its villains a big comeuppance, much to the delight of the audience, and we think it's only a matter of time before Ray gets his.

Ray actor Mark Frost has hopes that his character's actions, which even he finds difficult to perform sometimes, come back to bite him, and he's got an idea of how he wants it to happen.

Speaking to TV Times Magazine, the star said: "I think it would be nice for him to think he's got away with everything, only for the rug to be pulled from under his feet at the last minute — perhaps at the hands of at least one of the women he has abused.

"It would also be fitting if there was a co-operative of some of the women he's been involved with who take over the Bistro."
