Coronation Street's Faye faces upsetting incident with Ray

Coronation Street's Faye Windass faces an upsetting ordeal in the show's 60th anniversary episodes next month.

Faye (Ellie Leach) is left traumatised when Ray crosses the line in a sexual assault storyline.

The upcoming scenes see Faye try to put aside her misgivings over Ray (Mark Frost), after becoming concerned that he was only ever using her as part of his masterplan for the cobbles.

Faye decides to join Ray for a drink in the Bistro office after hours.

Later, Faye's brother Gary (Mikey North) enters the building to hand over the signed factory contract for Ray, having agreed to sell to him.

Gary is alarmed to hear Faye's muffled cries coming from the office, so he orders Ray to open the door.

A tearful Faye emerges with her blouse torn and flees outside. Gary is furious over what has happened and rushes after her.

Back at the flat, Gary and his wife Maria (Samia Longchambon) both try to comfort Faye and find out exactly what happened.

Faye clams up and refuses to take any action against Ray. Gary continues to seethe with rage over the situation, wondering why he ever trusted Ray.

Will Faye ultimately report Ray after the incident? And could this also have an impact on Ray's other plans as Gary turns against him?
