Yahoo Movies The Conjuring 4 has started filming in the UK
The Conjuring 4 has received an exciting update.
According to Screen Daily, the horror franchise's fourth instalment has officially started filming in the UK.
Officially titled The Conjuring: Last Rites, the Michael Chaves-directed film will see the return of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
However, specific plot details are being kept under wraps for the time being.

Last Rites is rumoured to be the final outing in the series. It follows on from 2013's first movie The Conjuring, its 2016 sequel The Conjuring 2 and 2021's The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, which was also directed by Chaves.
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote The Conjuring 3 with franchise creator James Wan, has written the script for the new movie.
Wan previously hinted that Last Rites could tie up Ed and Lorraine Warren's story.
Discussing the film's progress early last year, he said: "We are working on it right now. With the Conjuring films, we are very precious about [them].

"And so we kind of want to just take our time to make sure we get it right and to make sure the emotion of the Warren stories that we want to tell, and moving into, and potentially wrapping up, we just want to make sure that it's the right thing, the right story that we're telling."
However, it might not be the end of the entire Conjuring universe, which has expanded to include multiple spin-offs.
These include Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation, Annabelle Comes Home, The Nun and The Nun II.
The Nun II, which was released in cinemas last year, even saw the Warrens pop up in a credits scene.
The Conjuring 4 is set to release in cinemas on September 5, 2025.
