Comedian Katt Williams coming to Columbia in April. Here’s when you can buy tickets

Stand-up comic and actor Katt Williams is coming to Columbia.

The comedian will bring his World War III stand-up tour to Colonial Life Arena April 8.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 21, and range in price from $62 to $253, according to the show’s promoter.

Williams has had a wide-ranging career in comedy, voice acting, movies and television.

His film debut was in the 2002 comedy “Friday After Next.” He has appeared in more than a dozen comedies, including “Norbit,” “First Sunday” and a “Scary Movie” franchise film. He also has appeared in well-known television programs, including “My Wife and Kids” until 2005 and Nick Cannon’s “Wild “N Out.”

The Colonial Life Arena has a number of big-name performers coming to the capital city this year, including a rescheduled Elton John performance initially planned for 2020.

JoJo Siwa, a popular entertainer with elementary and middle-school children, as well as the band Alabama, the band Imagine Dragons and the Harlem Globetrotters are all scheduled to appear at the Gamecocks basketball venue in the coming months.
