Florida has the largest population of Colombians in the United States, with more than 96,000 in Miami-Dade, representing 13% of the entire Colombian population in the country.

The two leading candidates in the polls are Gustavo Petro, of the leftist political party Pacto Histórico, and Federico “Fico” Gutierrez, of the coalition Equipo por Colombia.

In third place in the poll is former Bucaramanga Mayor Rodolfo Hernandez, at 21%.
