CLOT x Nike's "CLOTEZ" Collab Is a 3-in-1 Cortez

Nike has joined forces with CLOT once again, delivering a new iteration of the Cortez inspired by Chinese culture.

Officially dubbed the "CLOTEZ," the collaboration was created in partnership with aspiring designer Harry Wong, resulting in a 3-in-1 sneaker embodying the yin-yang philosophy, which is a fundamental part of CLOT's brand DNA.

At first glance, the sneaker comes with a color-blocked black-and-white upper. Once taking a closer look, wearers will notice that the external black layer of the shoe is actually a slip-on wrapping the kicks. The slip-on can be worn on its own as well as the inner white shoe, or the two parts can be worn together for the full look. The heel features the Chinese characters "功" and "夫" spelling out "Kung Fu" while the tongue is highlighted with CLOT's logo.

The design takes inspiration from the "Kung Fu Soul" Air Max designed by Wong, who was a contestant in a competition Edison Chen was judging. The CLOT founder incorporated elements from the sneaker into the new Kung Fu-inspired "CLOTEZ."

Take a closer look at how the 3-in-1 sneakers work in the gallery above. The CLOT x Nike "CLOTEZ" will launch on February 10 via JUICE's online and offline stores in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taipei and Taichung with a $140 USD price tag.
