Clint Eastwood pays emotional tribute to his late partner Christina Sandera
Clint Eastwood has paid tribute to his longtime partner Christina Sandera, who has died at the age of 61.
The couple had been together since 2014, reportedly first meeting at Eastwood's Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in California, where Sandera was working as a hostess.
"Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much," shared the actor, in a statement released on Thursday (July 18).
No further information regarding her death will be released, The Hollywood Reporter was told by a Warner Bros. spokesperson.

The pair preferred to keep their relationship quiet over the past decade. However, Sandera had previously been seen accompanying Eastwood at the 2015 Academy Awards. She also attended red carpets for various films including Sully (2016), The Mule (2018), The 15:17 to Paris (2018) and Richard Jewell (2019).
Eastwood had been married twice before his relationship with Sandera. His first marriage with model Maggie Johnson lasted from 1953 to 1984. In 1996, he married TV news anchor Dina Ruiz, later divorcing in 2014.

Eastwood has most recently been directing his upcoming thriller Juror No. 2, which stars Nicholas Hoult as the lead.
"Juror No. 2 follows family man Justin Kemp (Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma … one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict - or free - the wrong killer," reads the logline for the film.
The cast also includes Toni Collette, Zoey Deutch, Gabriel Basso, Chris Messina, Kiefer Sutherland, Leslie Bibb and JK Simmons.
Juror No.2 currently has no release date.
