Chiefs fan starts petition to have Donna Kelce do honorary coin toss at Super Bowl LVII

The unofficial nickname for Super Bowl LVII is the “Kelce Bowl.”

That’s because the Chiefs and tight end Travis Kelce will face the Philadelphia Eagles and center Jason Kelce.

The Kelce brothers’ mom, Donna, has already done a few national interviews this week as she prepares to head to Arizona to see them play in Super Bowl LVII.

A Chiefs fan has a long shot dream: to have Donna Kelce do the honorary coin toss before kickoff.

“As We all Know Travis and Jason Kelce will go head to head on Superbowl Sunday!!!” Amber Smith wrote at Change.Org. “This is a Petition to the NFL to allow Mrs Kelce to do the Honorary Coin Toss!!! What a great way to show the Super Proud mama some Amazing Appreciation and Love while giving her a once in a lifetime opportunity!!”

As of Thursday morning, nearly 15,000 people had signed the petition.

If this “Hail Mary” of an attempt is successful, we all know what Donna Kelce will wear if she’s at the 50-yard line at State Farm Stadium before kickoff with the captains of the Chiefs and Eagles.

This is one cool jersey.
