CNSP is one of five awardees on the $850 million ceiling IDIQ contract

TULSA, Okla., August 11, 2022--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs, LLC (CNSP), an organization within Cherokee Federal, today announced it is one of five awardees for a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) $850 million ceiling indefinite delivery/indefinite quality (IDIQ) contract. CNSP will support DTRA in its mission to counter threats and vulnerabilities and to bolster national and international chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high explosives (CBRNE) security through assessments, exercises, and modeling and simulations.

"It is an honor to continue supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to protect Americans here at home and our international partners abroad," said Karl Gaskins, Operations General Manager for Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs. "For the past six years, our organization has provided subject matter experts in support of vulnerability threat assessments, and this contract serves as an excellent extension of that existing work."

CNSP provides experience and results to government partners seeking support on military operational management, overseas diplomatic infrastructure, forensics intelligence analysis, vulnerability/suitability assessments, security force operations and management, among other services. This depth of experience positions CNSP for success as the organization supports DTRA in enabling the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Government and International Partners to counter and deter national and global threats.
