Chelsea FC vs Manchester United: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news and h2h results today

Chelsea host Manchester United in a huge Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge today.

Both sides enjoyed victories in the Champions League earlier this week, although it is Chelsea who head into the game in more convincing form, with the 4-0 thumping of Juventus marking Thomas Tuchel’s 50th match in charge perfectly.

A solid defensive unit and a fearsome attack enjoying the success of the club’s academy graduates, they might not have easy a game as they would have done had Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not been sacked.

Indeed, with United looking so devoid of ideas and easy to play against Manchester City and Liverpool recently, surely Michael Carrick will look to shut up shop to avoid further embarrassment in big games.

With Ralf Rangnick expected to come in until the end of the season at least, it’s about trying to remain competitive for United.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Chelsea vs Manchester United is scheduled for a 4:30pm GMT kick-off today - Sunday November 28, 2021.

The game will take place at Stamford Bridge in west London.

Chelsea vs Man United team news

While there is hope that Ben Chilwell can play for Chelsea again this season, the England international will not be available until the New Year at least as a result of knee ligament damage suffered against Juventus.

N’Golo Kante also twisted his knee in midweek and will miss today’s game.

For United, Harry Maguire is suspended but Luke Shaw, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood could all come back into the side.

Raphael Varane and Paul Pogba are still sidelined.

Chelsea vs Man United prediction

While Chelsea will be strong favourites, it’s not hard to imagine United playing for a draw at best. Clearly, more needs to come from such a talented group of players but, right now, another big loss against an elite side would be a disaster.

0-0 draw.
