See where COVID cases are hitting Sacramento County in this interactive map

We’re entering our second COVID-19 winter. But unlike last year, California has high vaccination numbers.

Across the state, 72.8% of people are fully vaccinated and about 2.1 million boosters have been administered, according to the official California COVID-19 website.

About 57% of Sacramento County is fully vaccinated, which means an individual is at least two weeks past their second dose of a two-dose vaccine.

It doesn’t mean the virus has disappeared. And Sacramento County is still clocking cases.

In the last 30 days, the 95823 ZIP code recorded 400 new COVID-19 cases, the highest number in the county.

The ZIP codes with the lowest rate of infection within the last 30 days include 95680 95639 and 95615.

The data used in this map was last collected on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, from the Sacramento County health department.
