Charlotte restaurant named one of 100 ‘Best Restaurants for a Business Meeting in America’

Earlier this year, you may remember that Steak 48 was named one of the “100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America.” Now, it’s adding another brag to the list: It’s one of the “100 Best Restaurants for a Business Meeting in America”.

The restaurant is the only one in Charlotte to make the list — and the only one in the Carolinas, too. OpenTable based the list on over 13.6 million verified diner reviews in the last year.

The classic American steakhouse is the perfect place to settle down with co-workers to discuss the future of the business or have your first networking event, according to the report.

The upscale eatery opened in December 2020 in the Apex SouthPark area and is owned by brothers Jeffrey and Michael Mastro and their father, Dennis Mastro. It is known for its classic steakhouse menu with a twist. “We sell experience with a side of steak and wine,” Chief Brand Officer Oliver Badgio told CharlotteFive ahead of the restaurant’s opening.

Here’s what to expect when visiting the restaurant:

• Iced Alaskan King Crab Legs — made with house-made cocktail sauce, drawn butter - atomic horseradish and creamy mustard.

• NY Strip – the steak comes in a 12 oz or 16 oz.

• Prime Steakhouse Meatloaf – made with ribeye, filet mignon, pork and black truffle green peppercorn.
