Designer Hedi Slimane has revealed his latest collection for Celine. Set on the historic 'Promenade Des Anglais' in Nice, France, the fashion house produced a short runway film to give us all something to look forward to for summer 2022. A welcome interlude amidst the drearier months we're now facing.

The collection itself was a mix of two very clear themes - the debonair of the aristocracy, inspired by the British royal family's frequent visits to the Grand Hotel and the Hotel Regina on the Riviera, crossed with a modern, joyful zeal for everything glitz, glam and disco.

Pussybow blouses, and blue striped shirts brought a preppy, dignified vibe to the collection, but the sheer volume of sequins pulled it to a dazzling place of modernity.

In the ultimate high-low move, Slimane sent an oversized khaki tracksuit down the runway, made of all-over sequins. And if that isn't the boujiest loungewear you've ever seen, you must already live in a palace.
