Celebs Go Dating spoilers follow.
The singer and presenter won the All Stars series earlier this year, and appeared in Celebs Go Dating to get the lowdown from friend Vanessa Feltz.
As the broadcaster recounted two previous failed dates, she expressed optimism for her chances with her latest match, with Myleene subsequently praising her friend for appearing on the show following her recent breakup.
“He sounds fun and a breath of fresh air,” said Myleene of Vanessa’s latest date. “He sounds like it’s just what you needed. Honestly I’m so proud of you for doing this - I want you to be able to be yourself again. I feel like I have a different Vanessa sitting in front of me.”
Before the series aired, Vanessa spoke about her reasons for joining the show, which came after the end of her 17-year relationship with Ben Ofoedu. The broadcaster, who has worked for BBC Radio 2, revealed that her two daughters encouraged her to take part.
“[They've been] very good about it. Both my daughters are big fans of the show. They said there's no downside, definitely do it. My friends have all been really encouraging.
“I think they'll [the viewers] be surprised to see the vulnerability and I'm not someone who is comfortable with being single, I don't like it. People who like it, that's great but I don't like it,” she added.
