Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star Kieron Dyer has revealed that he tears into instructor Jason Fox in this weekend's upcoming episode.

It comes as part of the 'redman' challenge, in which the recruits engage in hand-to-hand combat against their trainers.

Airing on Sunday (September 19), the former Newcastle United and England footballer told The Sun that he was attempting to get revenge on Fox for cracking his rib from earlier in the series.

The ex-special forces man explained that he had to be helped off the ground by chief instructor Ant Middleton following the brawl, with Fox telling Dyer: "F**king hell, my eyes are rattling in my head!"

Dyer recalled of the moment: "Before this challenge, they get you psyched up about your family, who you'd kill for, and then send you in against Foxy dressed in all the red kit and you basically have to think like you want to kill him.

"I just let it out and what was so great about that, what I loved, is that when Ant actually told me to stop, I stopped. I don't think he thought I was going to stop, to be honest."

"The scary thing is, why I felt sorry for Foxy is, by this time my ribs were hanging by a thread now, so that's why I was just proper kneeing him in the ribs. I was thinking, 'Well, you broke my rib on this course, let me try and break one of your ribs!'"

The sportsman's co-stars Wes Nelson and Aled Davies went on to express their shock over his outburst, as he further explained: "Apparently I was swearing like a madman and everything. Wes and Aled were going, 'What the hell?'"

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues on Channel 4 this Sunday (September 19) at 9pm.
