CDC: Cloth masks 'will not' protect against wildfire smoke

Demolishing over a hundred thousand acres and filling the skies with smoke, wildfires have dramatically changed Northern California's air quality, and now the CDC is advising that cloth masks offer no protection from wildfire smoke. Experts say the cloth masks that have been and continue to be worn to protect people from contracting COVID-19, offer no protection against smoke because of the particulate size.
