Catherine Zeta-Jones has launched her first ever shoe collection.

The 50-year-old actor has joined forces with British footwear brand Butterfly Twists to launch a 10-piece footwear range in collaboration with her own lifestyle brand Casa Zeta-Jones.

The star was inspired to release the collection because she “loves” shoes.

“I love shoes, and like most women I know comfort and style are essential. I’m looking forward to my partnership with Butterfly Twists, and expanding the brand of Casa Zeta-Jones from head to toe, literally!” the mother-of-two said about her latest venture.

“I’ve always had a passion for fashion. I learned to sew from my Nana and my Mam and was always designing and creating something new,” she continued.” Shoes are a natural extension of that, and something I’ve always wanted to design.”

“I love their brand and knew I could collaborate with them on something really fresh and different. They are global, virtually in every country and that was also important to me so Casa Zeta-Jones could have a far and expansive reach to women everywhere.”

The Casa Zeta-Jones x Butterfly Twists capsule has been handmade from vegan leather.

The design boasts a flexible sole, which makes for extra comfort especially when wearing a flat shoe.

The collection has a variety of colourways. While some may prefer vibrant patterned designs, with a bow detail, others may be after classic slip-on flats.

They retail between $96 and $105 CAD, depending on the design, and are available in shoe sizes 36-42 (6-12),

The new drop is available to buy in 21 countries.
