The two are forced to accompany a patient being transferred to St James, and during an off-the-record lift back to the ED with paramedic Pravi, they text one another as Faith sits in the back of the ambulance and Dylan remains up front with Pravi.

A lorry suddenly crashes into the ambulance, killing Pravi instantly. As Dylan regains consciousness, he realises that his phone and radio are broken – and the ambulance is teetering dangerously above water.

Trapped in the back of the ambulance, Faith realises she's suffering internal bleeding. A panicked Dylan does his best to keep her conscious by admitting the real reason he told her about Lev, saying she deserves more.

As Faith's condition deteriorates, the two confess their love for one another. Will Faith and Dylan be able to make it out of the ambulance safely, and will they act on their feelings? We'll have to wait and see.

Casualty airs these scenes on Saturday (January 23) on BBC One.
