Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop brings popular cheesesteaks, turkey subs to Steele Creek

The Bobbie is coming to Charlotte. Capriotti’s, famous for its oven-roasted turkey sandwich packed with cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo — is opening Saturday, Jan. 28 in Steele Creek near Charlotte Premium Outlets.

The award-winning sandwich shop, founded in Delaware, features something you don’t see in similar chains: sandwiches made with hand-pulled meat after whole turkeys are slow-roasted in-house.

But it’s not all about the turkey. Other popular sandwiches include the Capastrami, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and homemade coleslaw; and the cheesesteak, made with premium steak, chicken or Impossible plant-based meat and melted cheese plus hot or sweet peppers. American Wagyu options are on the menu, too.

“We are excited to bring a fun and inviting restaurant to Charlotte where friends and families can come together to enjoy a meal,” said David Froman, who owns the location and another in Fort Mill with his friend, Todd Guear. “There is a true difference in the homemade, premium products that Capriotti’s offers its guests.”

Online ordering and delivery service will be available.
