The Mahomes kids — Sterling Skye and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon — shared the special moment with their mom on Sunday
Patrick Mahomes had his entire support squad wishing him good luck on the field before the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas on Sunday.
As the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 28, warmed up for the big game, his wife Brittany Mahomes and their two kids — son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 14 months, and daughter Sterling Skye, 2½ — enjoyed a family moment on the sidelines inside Allegiant Stadium.
In a photo the NFL posted on social media, Brittany and Sterling hold up baby Bronze as he lifts his little hands in the air in excitement.
But the toddler soon fell asleep, with Brittany sharing on her stories, "Boy didn't even make kickoff" along with a photo of a snoozing Bronze.
Speaking with PEOPLE in January, the mom of two, also 28, opened up about what it’s like managing two toddlers on game day. Though Sterling started out shy, the toddler is blossoming at games as she grows up.
“My oldest daughter, she can finally kind of realize what’s going on and where she’s at, and she loves to watch her dad play football. She can see him from a mile away and pays attention and keeps up with what’s going on with him,” the proud mom shared.
“She truly enjoys going down to the field and getting to see him before the game,” Brittany added. “I think it’s a very special moment wherever I get to bring them to the game and they get to watch their dad play football.”
Brittany also shared that the Mahomes family is looking forward to the quieter family milestones after Sunday's hectic game.
