For Bradenton’s 120th birthday, here are vintage photos of downtown over the decades

Head downtown to relive memories a century in the making.

Generations of families and visitors have made Bradenton their home or vacation destination, enjoying restaurants on the water, downtown strolls and visits to a manatee almost as old as the city itself.

Though the city has drastically developed over the decades, many building and entertainment staples have held their ground or found ways to preserve their history.

As Bradenton marks its 120th birthday on Friday, take a look at how the city has transformed through these historic photos.
