Box score from Kentucky basketball’s Blue-White Game

The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team played its annual Blue-White intrasquad scrimmage in Rupp Arena on Friday night. The players crossed over from side to side throughout the night making the score irrelevant but, for the record, the Blue team defeated the White squad, 108-80.

The scrimmage was played with a running clock in the second half, and Coach John Calipari put an end to the proceedings with 1:24 still left on the clock. Although a public event, it was a practice game, after all.

Jacob Toppin and CJ Fredrick did not play.

Next up for Kentucky is an exhibition game against Kentucky Wesleyan College on Friday in Rupp Arena. The Wildcats open the regular season on Nov. 9 at the Champions Classic against Duke in New York City.
