The Houston Astros sign-stealing scandal has left many in and around Major League Baseball angered and disappointed.

An investigation conducted by the league found Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch responsible for illegally stealing signs, aiding the club to a World Series championship in 2017 after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games. Both Luhnow and Hinch no longer work for the team.

Not holding back on the matter, however, was Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk when he was asked if Houston should have their title rings taken away from them.

“I mean, I would like to see that obviously, I bet the Dodgers would like to see that,” Grichuk said to the Canadian Press. “I've got a few friends on the Dodgers that are very disappointed that possibly two years in a row they lost due to a team going against the rules.

“So I think the bigger (the punishment) the better just due to the fact that more teams will say 'we're not even going to take the risk.’”

Grichuk joins a list of notable MLB players such as Cody Bellinger, Marcus Stroman, Mike Clevinger and many others who have vocalized their frustrations about the situation.

In addition to the Astros parting ways with their manager, the Boston Red Sox ousted manager Alex Cora and the New York Mets ended things with recently hired Carlos Beltran due to their connection to the scandal. Beltran never managed a single game for the Mets.
