TIFF 2014: Co-stars feel the love with red carpet kisses
There's something about TIFF that really brings out the love in Hollywood. When it comes to their affection for their co-stars, celebs are really letting it all hang out in Toronto.
First, the kiss heard around Toronto. The lip smacker between "Ruth & Alex" stars Diane Keaton and Morgan Freeman took place on Sept. 5 at Roy Thomson Hall. In the film, the duo plays a seasoned couple who spend a weekend enjoying the Brooklyn apartment they may have to sell and it seems like the actors took their roles to heart.
That same night, Bill Murray was getting even more love after the premiere of his film, "St. Vincent." Co-star Naomi Watts gave him a big smooch on the cheek at the Spanish restaurant Patria. (Watts's husband, Liev Schreiber, was conveniently absent.)
Murray, 63, had previously grabbed a kiss from his other leading lady, Melissa McCarthy, on the red carpet for the film's premiere at Princess of Wales Theatre.
On Sept. 6, actor Kevin Costner laid one on Octavia Spencer at the "Black And White" after party at West Bar. In the film, Costner, who also produces, plays an attorney who gets caught up in a custody battle with his granddaughter's paternal grandmother (Spencer).
Keeping the love alive on Sunday was "Gone Girl" star Rosamund Pike. On Sept. 7, the British actress gave her co-star Simon Pegg such a big smooch at the premiere of their film, "Hector And The Search For Happiness."
