Modern movies reimagined with classic movie posters

What would it be like if movies like “X-Men: Days of Future Past” or “American Hustle” had been made in another decade? Who would star in them? And -- most importantly -- what would the posters look like?

Those are the questions answered by New York-based graphic designer Peter Stults in his ongoing poster series “What If: Movies Reimagined.” Transplanting familiar films into past decades, Stultz creates era appropriate poster art featuring actors and actresses from that period.

What if “Skyfall” was a 007 movie starring original big screen Bond Sean Connery?

What if “Blade Runner” and “Man of Steel” had been made in the 1950s?

What if "Iron Man 3" had been made in the 1960s?

What if “Aliens” had been a blaxploitation sequel starring Pam Grier as Ripley?<

If you like these “What If...” movie posters, there are many more on Stultz’s website. Now, if you'll excuse us, we have to spend the rest of the day being disappointed by the fact that these movies don't actually exist.
