Elle Fanning, 14, towers over ‘Ginger and Rosa’ co-stars at TIFF

In 2011, Elle Fanning said she'd "rather look like a two-year-old than a 21-year-old," but at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival on Friday night, she veered towards the latter.

The 14-year-old "Ginger & Rosa" star, who in the film plays a teen living in '60s London, looked nowhere near her age as she towered over her adult co-stars -- Christina Hendricks, Alessandro Nivola and Alice Englert -- at the premiere on Friday.

But don't worry, because Fanning hasn't suddenly sprouted to six feet tall. It turns out her chunky Miu Miu heels gave her already towering 5'7" frame a few extra inches so that she stood tall with Nivola, who is 5'9". Last year, Fanning told Teen Vogue that she was "obsessed" with "clunky" heels because she fees like she's "too young to wear a super stiletto."

This is not the first time Fanning has looked older than her years. In BlackBook magazine last summer, she posed like a seasoned fashion model in several mature black-and-white photos.
