6 Best New Twitter Accounts Inspired By the Oscars

The Grammys last month launched @PharrellsHat, the 2012 Oscars brought @AngelinaLeg, so what moments from Sunday night's Academy Awards inspired their own Twitter accounts?

And, more importantly, what did they add to the online conversation on Oscar night?

1. @LupitaHeadband
Forget Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron — Lupita Nyong'o's won awards season fashion long before Oscar night and people couldn't wait to see what she'd wear. Fortunately, they weren't disappointed. Many were in awe as the Best Supporting Actress winner stepped out in her flowing, icy blue Prada dress and a sparkling headpiece fit for a princess. Not only did #NairobiBlue start trending, but @LupitaHeadband began tweeting.

2. @OscarsPizzaGuy
Who didn't love it when host Ellen DeGeneres asked the star-studded audience if they were hungry … and then had pizza delivered moments later? So, of course, the lucky fella to show up with piping hot boxes from Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria deserved his own outlet to share his experience. (In case anyone was wondering, @EllensPizza existed long before the Oscars, and is devoted to "Grey's Anatomy" fandom.)

3. @PharrellsShorts
This one was inevitable, right? Best Song nominee Pharrell Williams made a splash at the Grammys with his brown Vivienne Westwood hat (which recently sold to Arby's(!) on eBay for $44,100), so when the musician turned up on the red carpet at the Oscars in a gray hat and Lanvin tuxedo with Bermuda shorts, this new account was only a matter of time. No word yet if he'll be selling these for charity as well.

4. @AdelaDazeem
Remember that time John Travolta gave Idina Menzel — who performed "Frozen's" Best Song winner "Let It Go" — a whole new name? We're not sure what caused him to introduce the Tony winner in such a way, but we're glad this account stepped in to thank him properly.

5. @EllensSelfie
How meta that one of the most memorable moments of the Oscars ceremony, the one that broke Twitter temporarily, would get its own account! When Ellen took that mega-selfie with Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Bradley Cooper, and others, she managed to break the record for the most retweets ever in only 45 minutes. At press time, it had exceeded 2.1 million. Unfortunately, the account it inspired only had posted a few retweets of its own.

6. @JaredLetosOmbre
The Best Supporting Actor winner already had a slew of hair-driven Twitter accounts, but his long, luxurious locks earned one more just for the Oscars.
