How long would it take to watch the Best of Warner Bros. 100 Film Collection? We did the math.

This year, Warner Brothers will commemorate 90 landmark years of moviemaking with the release of several new home entertainment collections of classic films drawn from the studio's extensive archives -- the largest film library in the world.

The year-long celebration kicks off with this week's release of Warner Home Video's flagship box set, The Best of Warner Bros. 100 Film Collection, a limited and numbered deluxe DVD set featuring 100 films produced and acquired over the studio's illustrious 90-year history, from the world's first talkie, "The Jazz Singer" (1927) to the blockbuster modern action thriller "Inception" (2010). The anniversary collection is also available as a 50-film Blu-ray box set.

This is the largest box set ever released by any studio to date, in either format. But which hundred films from made the cut? Spanning a massive timeline of stars, directors and genres, the collection is a cinematic treasure trove of best picture winners, crowd-pleasing classics, genre-defining blockbusters and everything in between.

It's a must-have set for any collector or movie buff. But how long would it take to watch all 100 of these movies? How much time would it actually take to sit down, crack open the behemoth 9.5-pound Best of Warner Bros. box set and watch all 55 discs?

Just under nine days. With bathroom breaks.

We did the math. According to our calculations, if you watched all 99 films in their entirety, plus the feature-length "Tales from the Warner Bros. Lot" documentary, in one epic, non-stop movie mega-marathon, it would take you roughly 8 days, 22 hours and 33 minutes. Of course, you might want to skip some of the ones you've already seen.
