‘Star Trek’ Into Block-ness With Exclusive Kre-O Video Short

The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise always sticks together, but now they can do it literally.

With "Star Trek Into Darkness" hitting theaters on May 17, Hasbro's Kre-O line of building sets is introducing a new line of toys based on J.J. Abrams' new take on the classic sci-fi franchise. And to mark the occasion, Hasbro collaborated with Bad Robot for a stop motion short using the figures that captures the look of the movies right down to the lens flares.

The Kre-O sets recreate the ships, locations, and characters of the upcoming movie. There's the U.S.S. Enterprise, of course, that opens up to reveal the bridge. Other sets include the new Klingon Bird-of-Prey, the Transporter Room, and Spock's Volcano Mission. Plus, there are smaller sets with spaceships from the first "Star Trek" and also the sequel. And for the first time, the building sets have a light-up feature to really send the ships into warp drive.
