The Sidebar: Kevin Connolly Reveals His Reluctance to ‘Hug It Out’

The long-running HBO comedy "Entourage" made stars of its leading men, and it made the phrase "Let's hug it out!" a common refrain for bros everywhere. But Kevin Connolly, known as superstar Vincent Chase's best friend-turned-manager "E," revealed to Yahoo!'s The Sidebar that he wasn't all that thrilled to embrace Jeremy Piven to begin with, and the subsequent reaction from fans has been even more grating.

In addition to being an actor, Connolly has been moonlighting as a director for years. Now he's combining his passion for directing with his love of hockey for his first documentary, "Big Shot," about the mogul who bought the New York Islanders in the mid-90s and the fallout that ensued.

"Big Shot" had its world premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, and to mark the occasion Connolly sat down with The Sidebar's Ben Lyons to talk about his "retirement" from acting, the status of the "Entourage" movie, and his reluctance to hug it out.
